Swanage is a pretty seaside town situated on the stunning Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO world heritage site.
We are only a few yards from the seafront and it takes just a minute or two to walk from the house to the beach.

Hi, we are Bill and Michele....welcome to Taunton House!
We visited Swanage many times over the years and fell in love with this beautiful town. So when the opportunity arose to live by the sea we decided to start a bed and breakfast here.
We painstakingly restored Taunton House, enhancing the wonderful traditional features, updating it in the process. We hope that you will love its charm, character and homeliness.
As keen divers and walkers we can advise you on how to get the best out of Swanage and the surrounding areas. We can also make sure you visit all the best pubs and restaurants in town.
